We are very excited to announce several new Yoga classes and courses starting in September!

Yoga feeds the soul and nourishes your life

Spoil yourself by joining Paula in a TWO HOUR YOGA IMMERSION CLASS. Paula will be running one of these immersion classes each month, the first one will be on Saturday, 24th September from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The cost of the class will be £25. There will be a maximum of 8 people in the class so that you can get the most out of it.

Put the date in your diary where you will take time out for yourself. A time where you can nurture and release body and mind, and come back to the foundations of who you are when you’re not running around in your daily life being the wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, friend or work colleague……Your time to heal the body and mind.

When we take a spa day it’s a special treat for ourselves. We willingly surrender to taking time out to heal and feel good again, we expect to emerge feeling deeply nurtured and rejuvenated.

A two hour yoga practice is much like a day at the spa, as it works our bodies from the outside in. Practicing in a quiet environment conducive to cultivating a habit where we will care for our bodies and mind, guiding them to soften and relax.

Using asana and pranayama to nurture calm contentment and subtle awareness, we allow our mind to become more focused and connect back to ourselves.

This two hour practice will take the form of a 75 minute creative asana practice, warming up very slowly and mindfully, then moving gently into an asana practice that’s suitable for all levels of yoga. Paula will then work towards a long, deep savasana and ending the practice by quiet sitting, to allow us time and space to renew and rejuvenate the body and the mind. This practice is great to let go of the week and head into the weekend with clarity and calm. Feeling enriched and enlivened, Paula will help you prepare to return to your busy lives after a day at the inner yoga spa knowing you can return at will whenever you need to.

This is an all levels yoga practice that unlike a 1 hour yoga class, it allows you the time to reach deeply into the full beauty of what yoga can do to heal the body, soul and mind.

Chill Out Yoga Twice a Month

Chill out yoga

Due to popular demand, Paula will also be taking the chill out yoga class twice a month – Friday 2nd September and Wednesday 14th September.

Chill Out Yoga offers ‘active’ relaxation and the chance to bathe and relax in the healing vibrations of a Tibetan Singing Bowl. The bowl’s vibrations course through every body cell to allow time and space to renew, rejuvenate and heal the body and mind.
Restorative Yoga is postures adapted from classical yoga asana where the practice focus is relaxing the body in restful positions. Each pose is usually held for a few minutes gradually extending to a longer hold for the experienced. Consistent practice balances the autonomic nervous system, therefore, supporting the environment to renew and heal. The class ends with Yoga nidra which is an experience of altered states of consciousness essentially meditative experiences which can be used therapeutically for healing as well as to enhance creativity and productivity and to improve sleep and general health. While relaxing with lavender eye masks, Paula will massage lavender oil into your neck.

Chill out Yoga is for all ages and abilities and because there are a maximum of 8 people in each class, Paula will make sure everyone gets the best out of each class and leaves feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Introducing Reshma Pancholi – Yoga Teacher

We are also delighted to announce the arrival of a new Yoga Teacher, Reshma Pancholi who will be starting a 6 week beginners only Yoga course on Wednesday, 14th September.
Reshma Pancholi

Reshma initially qualified as a yoga teacher in 2009 with the Sivananda Vedanta Yoga School in Mudurai, India. Then in 2011, she enrolled at the Triyoga School in London to deepen her practice. This time, her studies drew her towards the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. Scaravelli inspired yoga, places emphasis on freeing the body and awakening the spine through grounding and releasing.
